I had planned to decorate Easter eggs with the kids on Saturday, but they just couldn't wait that long. I finally broke down at 8:30 PM on Friday night and told them that we could go ahead and decorate the eggs.

I was happily surprised to find collapsible dye cups included with the dye kit that we bought. Yeah! No coffee cups to scrub later! I made the mistake of expecting the kids to share the same dye cups last year and it was non-stop fighting...
"Mom, Ian is making the yellow dirty!!!!"....
"MOM, CONNOR WON'T GIVE ME THE BLUE DYE, WHAAA!" I wised up this year and got them each their own dye kits.

Easter egg coloring - pants optional (for Ian at least).

Half way done...

The eggs came out really pretty considering that each egg was washed in at least 3 different colors of dye.

The finished product - eggs decorated with goofy faces. Ian named egg of his eggs after superheros: Spider-Man, Venom, Batman, etc.
